DiDonAutomotive is happy to help you install your replacement Idle Air Control Valve (IACV) through the following step-by-step tutorial!!

Step 1: Pop the hood open and locate the Air Induction System (AIS). You will want to focus on finding the throttle body and the air duct connecting the air box to the throttle body.

    Disconnect battery

Step 2: Disconnect PCV system from Air Induction System (AIS), disconnect mechanical cables from throttle body, disconnect Throttle Position Sensor (TPS) connector from throttle body, disconnect coolant lines from throttle body

Step 3: Remove air box, air duct connecting to throttle body and throttle body

Step : Inspect Throttle Body, Air Duct and Air Box for any cracks or abnormalities. Confirm function of throttle blade rotation and that no sticking of the Throttle Body blade is present (need to confirm that throttle blade can close fully on its own without getting stuck).
